Qualification for the posts of Lecturers



Cadre Prescribed Qualification and Experience
Lecturer in Management Qualification & Experience for Candidate from Teaching/ Industry & Profession First class Master's degree in Buisness Management / Administration/ other relavant management related discilpines/ PGDBM/PGDM programms (minimum 2 years duration) recognized by AICTE/MHRD/UGC and declared equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU
Lecturer in Computer Science Qualification & Experience for Candidate from Teaching/ Industry & Profession First class B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Engineering/Technology OR First class M.C.A degree.
NOTE Fot the post of Lecturer for Master's Courses, the candidate having only the Bachelor Degree(B.E/B.Tech.) are not eligible.Holder's B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering /Technology are eligible for the post of Lecturer for graduate/undergoing graduate courses.
In the discipline of Computer Science/Engineering/Technology in lieu of the "First Class degree at Bachelor's and / or Masterlevel in the appropriate branch" a first class Master's Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering /Technology together qith a first class Bechelor's Degree in any area of Engineering /Technology will be applicable.
OR UGC Good Academic Record with atleast 55% marks or, an quuivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with latter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master's degree level, uin the relavent subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the Eligibility test (NET) for lecturer conducted by UGC,CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Note:NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer fot those with postgraduate degree. However the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level teaching.
Common for allGood Academic Record-will be determined as under:
"Mastrer's Degree in the Relavent subject with 55% marks and second class (50%) in the Becholr's degree."
