The Sanatan Dharam College, Barnala is one of the prestigious institutions of the region. The students in this institute got top ranks in their respective fields.Certain students got university positions.Following are the names of GEMs of our College. Ankita Garg got First postion in Pbi. Uni. Patiala in BCA III in 2009. Manika Sobti got Sixth postion in Pbi. Uni. Patiala in BCA III in 2009. Ashok Kumar got Seventh postion in Pbi. Uni. Patiala in BCA III in 2009. Payal Bansal got Fifth postion in Pbi. Uni. Patiala in BCAII in 2009. Also in Extra Curriculive activities students of S.D.College shine like stars in the sky. In a Tech Fest at Modi College Patiala students of BCA III Sachin and Aman Sharma got First prize in Web Development. Another student Priyanka got prize in s tough test of 'C' Language. Again at another Tech Fest at S.S.D College Bti. students of S.D. College make their mark. Again Aman Sharma got First prize in Web Development. Cultural Activities

 

S.D. College pays a great attention towards Cultural Activities.Students show their talent in Farewell parties, in Annual functions. Also they are motivated in activities like Blood Donation etc. .

  
Sports

 

S.D. College Campus provide a great chance for the students to came out as great players. There is a ground for Basketball,Foolball,Netball,Badminton,Cricket,Boxing,Athletics. So students can take part in any game according to theit interest. Also the Annual Sports day is also celebrated so students can show their talent.

N.S.S.

 

The volunteers of our N.S.S. wing remain busy throughout the year in serving the society in one way or other. They diversify their activities by participating in ‘’Pulse Polio Immunization Programs”, “Visiting Slum Areas”, “Organising Blood Donation Camp” & “Tree Plantation Week” etc. Seminars on “Awareness of “AIDS, Leprosy” & “Evils of Drug Addiction” & “Female Foeticide” etc, are organized from time to time.
