S.D. College of Education, Barnala is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by NCTE. The college was started in 2004-05 with intake capacity of 100 units .The B.Ed. course is of one-year duration. The first batch of B.Ed. students showed spectacular results in academic as well as extra -curricular activities. In the annual examination, every student (100) got more than 75% marks and a number of students are placed in the university merit too.
