This school was established by the S.D. College Educational Society in the cherished memory of its founder President Dr. Raghubir Parkash. This school is affiliated with Punjab School Education Board, SAS, Nagar (Mohali). The school was given permission by the PSEB, Mohali to run 9th, 10th, +1 and +2 Classes in Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce and Arts.

This school is housed in the newly developed campus of S.D. College, Barnala. It has fully equipped Computer, Physics, Chemistry & Biology labs. It has well maintained playgrounds. Its students have taken part in State & National games and have won medals. Creamy layer of the town (meritorious students from all schools) have joined this school. Its teachers are well qualified in their respective subjects.
