Rare are the persons who win their confidence and conviction, courage & contentment, patience & perseverance lift themselves for above their fellowmen. Such a personality is Dr. M. L. Bansal. Dr. M. L. Bansal,started his career as a lecturer in 1974 in S. D. College, Barnala.He served the college on various platforms like lecturer, Bursor, deputy Registrar, Incharge University Grant Commission and Vice-Principal. He is a great social worker also and is actively engaged in organizing eye camps, blood-doanation camps, environmental awareness camps etc. He remained the President of PCCTU, Sangrur unit for three consecutive years.At the age of 50, by acquiring doctorate degree on the topin “Policy and Administration of Disinvestment Programme of Public Sector Enterprises in India (An Analytic Study of Selected Units)” from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. M. L. Bansal has set an example for his students to emulate it.

                                                                                                                        
Staff

 

Staff of S.D. College is very much hard working.In each department there is veruy well qualified Staff. Also the staff is very much helpful to the students. There is a very good co ordination among the staff members and all the staff members live like a family.
